50th Anniversary Card

I want to share this amazing card today. A friend of mine asked for a special 50th anniversary card. This is what I came up with...
This is the custom envelope to hold the very dimentional card. It's about 3/4" in depth.

All the roses were made using the Vintage Rose dies from Heartfelt creations. I edged every flower with distress Aged Mahogany, as you know once sprayed with water the ink will wick, making a softer edge. I also used Mizuhiki paper as a gold accent as well.

Using Bo Bunnies Timeless paper collection, allowing the gold as a perfect fit.

The glass sprays are part of my stash, I'v had them so long I cannot remember where i got them. Maybe ESTY???

Distressing the paper and filling the gaps with lovely lace ribbon I picked up in the UK.

Finally, the inside layering distressed paper. I use my scissors and just rock the paper back and forth until I'm satisfied. Next I use a distressing tool, either Tim Holtz or Prima. As an after thought I used Shimmers Blings to edge the sentiment. I also used the bling to edge the roses in some areas as well.
Cheers, friends!
